Hello, I’m Ines.
I started photographing weddings for friends in 2014, with a borrowed camera and a lot of nerve. Twelve seasons later it is still the best job I can imagine.
I grew up in Kendal and still live a short drive from most of the venues I work at. I know where the light falls in the barns, which fells are quiet on a Saturday evening, and which churches let you shoot from the gallery.
Every wedding gets two cameras and one roll of film; on a whole day a second photographer comes too. No posing lists, no flash during vows, and a gallery that arrives within six weeks.
