Flowers that photograph well in grey weather
White roses, sweet peas and a little greenery go a long way under cloud.
Cloud is a gift for flowers. It softens every petal and lets whites and pale pinks hold their detail instead of burning out.
White roses, sweet peas, garden roses and a little loose greenery look beautiful under a grey sky. Very dark reds and deep purples can turn almost black, so use them sparingly as accents.
Ask your florist to keep the bouquet loose and slightly asymmetric. It moves when you walk, and movement reads as life in a photograph.
